This is the best clinic I have been to. I moved to the area and was looking for a Vet to take my dog since she had developed a paw skin irritation. Scheduling an appointment was very easy and quick. I was able to get my pup in the next day. The front desk nurses were very kind and efficient. The doctor was great! I can’t say anything bad about this place. They even gave me a call a few days later to see how my dog was feeling and checking up on her! Keep up the great work Pawsitive!

I’ve taken my dog here a few times so far and I really appreciate the teams professionalism and knowledge. They’re quick and my dog feels sooooo comfortable with their staff! I love the fact that I have two very talented vet offices to go to!

The vet is great and explains what he is doing and what he finds. The vet techs were wonderful, friendly, great with the dogs, and were even happy to be handed dog poop in a bag!

My cat Leo used to be groomed at his regular vet in Woodbridge but the cat groomer quit. I had a lot of trouble finding someone to groom him as he requires sedation. Pawsitive care was able to make him an appointment quickly and did a great job removing his matted fur. He has no irritation from the grooming and i was able to wait for him instead of dropping him off. They were very kind and easy to deal with. Leo had a great experience and so did I.

PCAH is a great clinic. I have moved around a lot over the last 10 years and been to many vet clinics throughout different cities. When I moved to NOVA I started going to another vet in Manassas as it was affordable and my dogs did not have any issues requiring special one on one care (seeing the same doctor each time). I first had to come to PCAH in an emergency for one of my senior dogs 2 years ago. My current vet was unavailable and scheduling appointments many weeks out, even for medical appointments/emergencies. Unfortunately that day my dog had to be put down, but the staff was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process including receiving the ashes back even though I'd never been there before. Since then I have transferred my other dogs from my old vet to PCAH and have been met with the same care for each. Most recently I spent a lot of time at PCAH with another senior dog who was having serious health decline, and Dr. Mushtaq spent a considerable amount of time with me and my pet working with us on treatments which helped extend her QOL until she unfortunately passed. When I received her ashes back there was an extremely heartfelt note from the entire staff included. This place truly cares about your pets and I would recommend it to everyone.

I've been using the same vet as my family for thirty years, who happens to be 75 miles from where I live now. My cat recently got sick and I didn't want to make the long trip but instead called Pawsitive Care Animal Hospital. They were courteous, professional, and caring. After hearing my concerns and establishing that the cat wasn't in critical condition, they asked if I could wait until the next day to come in. No problem.
At our appointment the next day I was completely impressed with this practice. It's clean, bright, and the employees seem happy to be working there. The doctor heard my concerns well, watched a couple videos I've taken of the cat, did a good examination, and made recommendations for treatment.
I'm so glad to have found this vet, and I recommend the practice highly.

Couldn’t get my chihuahua Gizmo into his regular vet because they were closed the entire week after the New Year. It was a semi emergency situation so I called another local vet and the referred me to Pawsitive. I was able to take him in and get him checked. Glad I did because he may have had pneumonia. Couldn’t afford X rays as I had just gotten out of the hospital. The Dr heard some noise in his lungs hence the reason he was wheezing and coughing at home. Thank goodness I had him seen and he is doing much better. Thanks Pawsitive you will be seeing him again soon

This is the best vet I’ve ever been to. I’ve taken my dog to 3 different vets and this vet is the most caring and accommodating. I appreciate their willingness to help and how much they care.

The ladies at this office are FANTASTIC. They were so helpful, so knowledgeable, and so incredibly patient with my shy boy, as well as with all of my questions. The doctor was efficient, well-versed, and my dog did not notice a single shot (he had 3). The best part was that not a single person tried to push any unnecessary testing or vaccines. They asked about lifestyle and where he went and it was clear they considered all aspects of my dog’s life in order to provide the best and most efficient care.
After an initial wellness exam, fecal test, 1 month flea/tick/heartworm, and 3 vaccines, I still didn’t hit $300. Oh, and we were in and out in about 30 mins!
